Consulting

With the unprecedented, fast growth of modern technology, traditional routine and noncreative work will soon be replaced by machines in the anticipated future. The new age calls for creative talents. Instead of leaving the creative talents to appear by chance alone, teachers, engineers, managers, and leaders of different professions should and can learn about how to purposefully identify, foster, protect, and manage creative talents.

In parallel to its research and academic work, the ICI also provides consulting services to schools, communities and organizations. Our consulting services cover three major areas: assessment, development and management.

Assessment

The first step of the effective management of creativity and innovation is to get to know the current creativity/innovation level of the individuals, teams and organizations. Sound policy analysis and decision-making also requires credible, timely and relevant assessment of the status quo of the company’s innovativeness. Our institute, with its advanced knowledge and experience of creativity assessment, will help our clients achieve this understanding in a scientific and reliable way.

Development

Meta-analyses of the effect of creativity training show that creativity can be fostered through well-designed and -implemented training programs. Results of longitudinal studies of creativity training programs, including our own studies, provide further evidence to the long-term effect of creativity training. Combining theories and practice, our institute will provide you with professional advice on how to develop creativity in school and work settings.

Management

The existence of creative ideas and the presence of creative talents alone do not guarantee innovation. Innovation is the result of the optimal interplay of the creative person, process, product and the press (environment). In order to achieve innovative goals, all elements of the complex innovation system should be managed tactfully. On the basis of the above-mentioned assessment and consultancy, our institute will make concrete suggestions to our clients on how to optimally and effectively manage creativity and innovation.
